Mixing and Blending Workshops
Interested in Aromatherapy but don't know where to start?
Would you like to create your own natural and eco-friendly body care products while experiencing the emotional and physical therapeutic benefits? I host Mixing and Blending Workshops at my home (an informal evening and must like dogs 
).
I have 48+ essential oils for use and plenty of carrier bases. Must have a minimum of 4 people (maximum eight) to hold the class. This is a perfect opportunity to create your own insect repellant, after sun cream, rich facial/eye lotion or something to help you sleep or soothe those tired muscles. Perhaps you need to stay alert for those long journeys or require something to help you relax. The cost is $55 per person (*$5 extra to use Blue Lotus, Jasmine, Rose, Sandalwood) and you will be able to create 5 products. Cash, etransfer, tap available. This informative yet relaxing workshop can run 2 to 3 hours. There are 8 blending options available. You can choose 5 of those options (only ONE from each of those 5). Options include:
120ml room/body spritzer- Perfect for the room, bed linen, refreshing clothes, a great light to strong perfume spritzer
30ml massage blend (glass) - great as a light moisturizer or a massage oil
10ml rollerball blend (glass) - a possibility for a concentrated formula to get into the pulse points for quick access to the blood stream, great for a perfume, reduce inflammation from headaches, migraines, sleep issues
30ml lotion blend (glass) - a sample of a body cream or a luxury face/eye cream
Inhaler stick (remember Vicks sticks?) - instant relief especially for hormonal needs
180gm Dead Sea salt soak - mineral salt soak for those aches and pain along with benefits of essential oils
30ml bubble bath or shower gel blend - both carriers available for a few soothing soaks or nourishing showers
There will be a lesson on the history of aromatherapy and instruction on how to use essential oils. Contra-indications and guidelines will be followed. A survey will help you narrow down your choices. There will also be plenty of recipes and other info emailed out after the session.
